Re: suggestions for new album
For whatever my thoughts are worth... I wouldn't mind hearing something that was a bit more reminiscent of their older work (particularly Chronometree through The Inconsolable Secret). I really enjoy their material that was composed and performed primarily by Steve and Fred alone, although I guess ...

Re: new album! and confession!

Re: Inconsolable Secret revisited? Why?
Quick review: I've listened to the remixes once so far and my initial reaction was almost entirely positive. I was lucky enough to find the original album a couple years ago so I was already familiar with it (in love with it to be more accurate). I must say that the first two remixes with Jon Davis...

Re: A prog classic
I joined up mainly to make this post. I've been a porcupine tree devotee for the last 3 years or so. I categorised bands as "Porcupine Tree" and "Worse than Porcupine Tree". And until about a month ago, that was how things were. Then I discovered glass hammer and chronomotree! My goodness, what an ...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hi all I only found glass hammer about a month ago. The last month i have annoyed my family by continuously having glass hammer on. I don't care. They can deal with it. It used to be porcupine tree going all the time, before that genesis. I made another post about chronometree which is what started...

Re: Glass Hammer Special Edition Adventure Pack
Hey Steve/Fred, not sure if you'll see this, but I recently ordered the special edition and it seems that the CDR (DVD-RW) is just a blank disc. I mean it's the right disc, there's just nothing on it. :? Is there any way you could send me the bonus stuff? Ooops! I run those discs myself so it was m...

I preferred the old days of the forum to the new FB format. I miss the conversations. I read them all once upon a time. But I check in now and then - glad to see someones still here!

Re: Arjen Anthony Lucassen
I've been wondering, has there been any correspondence between GH and Lucassen ever since Chronometree? I doubt it, but with both of them still very active in their work, I'd like to hope that maybe there is the possibility of another guest appearance some time in the next few years, whether it be ...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hello everyone! I've been a huge Glass Hammer fan since around 2008, and I now have most of their albums. I was just never able to get on this forum until recently (plus I'm kinda anti-facebook). I like many kinds of music, although prog rock has definitely been my biggest obsession for the past 2-...

Sadly, there are no plans to reunite Wyzards (Wizards).Joe-× wrote:Any chance of this going back on tour? I missed the '97 show in Baltimore. I had to take Mom to church. Didn't make it back to the epic Parkville Colosseum in time.
