My copy awaited me in the mailbox last Monday evening. Thanks, guys, for prompt shipping. It's outside in the car right now, and it's 51 degrees outside, so I'm disinclined to go out and check for a misspelling! So far, the standout track for me is "Hyperbole." Been cranking that one UP in the...

If only I could've attended. However, that would've meant bringing along two co-workers who also wanted to see the band--and that would've stripped half our work crew for that evening. The bosses would not have been pleased the following morning. Obviously it would be nice to know what songs were pl...

Gearing up for a trip to this weekend's RosFest. They've moved it from the original venue, the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, to the Keswick Theater in Glenside (both in the metro Philly area). Unlike past years, I'm not gonna be so pressed for time that I will be doing nothing but traveling and ...

I got a digital camera--which was all I'd asked for; I've got all the gadgets and gizmos I really need. Well, ok. Except for a wireless system for my bass. And a 48-inch HDTV. But I was being realistic. :P The digicam replaces one that I got for Christmas '04. It is a- stoun -ding how much digicams ...

Kansas will be playing at Wild Bill's ( http://www.wildbillsatlanta.com ) this Friday evening. I last saw the band just two months ago, and so you might be wondering "why again so soon?" Well, at that show (in Greenville, SC) I took along a few folks who are not diehard Wheatheads; got a few odd gla...

I once had the pleasure of seeing those two guys onstage at the same time! The 'Tones did a show in Atlanta back in the spring of '97, and Oteil sat in with the band for the encore. He and Victor carried out a bass duel that made my jaw drop. Note--I did not say dueT, but dueL. Those two were firing...

This DVD arrived in my mailbox last week. Brought back some great memories of being at the video shoot two years back. I have no complaints about the setlist; they chose to do an overview of the band's recorded history. And believe it or don't "Stolen By Ghosts" WAS performed. An excerpt from it, an...
