Awesome Defined

Sizzlin'.
I also think that the shirt is terribly awesome. Prime choice of lyrics for the back of the shirt. Very jealous indeed.

I thought that looked like something from the Exeter Book. Has the feel of it. Heh. Love those Anglo-Saxon riddles. Though I must admit that I think #23 is more... interesting. ;) As for the rules of Anglo-Saxon poetry, good luck. I tried to stumble through 'The Seafarer' at some point in my life. P...

Yeah, I've heard a bit of Nightwish. I have an acquaintance who is quite fond of the band. So I think he introduced me to their album Wishmaster as well as the song '10th Man Down,' which he particularly enjoyed. Me? I thought it wasn't bad. Not quite my style, but worth a listen, certainly.

Dusting Myself Off / Breaking Silence

Hrm. I figure that at my posting rate, I'll probably see the next couple of centuries before I get close to breaking 100. :)

But it leads somewhere....

I think that it's criminal that at the time of this posting, there are no votes for 'Run, Lisette.' That song rocks very much, and there are few things that can top a song about a killer horse. Unfortunately for 'Run Lisette,' though, 'Behind the Great Beyond' is one of those things. The string intr...

And I really was serious, Elrabin. I always have thought you were cool, in your silent coolness. I think it's because Elrabin always sounded elvish to me, somehow. :) What's it mean? Ah, thank you. The name 'Elrabin' does have an Elvish ring to it, I agree. Unfortunately, it has no solid foundation...

(not to leave out the Wonderful Highness Elrabin, who doesn't say much, but has pretty much always been around. :)) And don't you forget it. Seriously, though, I don't mean to offend. Just putting out a word for all the quiet folks that are also anxiously awaiting that magical day when they ...

Oh, let's just beat down on the silent ones just because the message board system recognizes seniority not by age but by activity. *taps his 'joined date' attribute*

Oh, wow. The cover art is indeed phenomenal. Extraordinary! In my mind, it has certainly matched (if not exceeded) the majesty of Chronometree 's. Too cool for words to adequately express. As for 'So Close, So Far'... wow. I really enjoyed the track. It soars beautifully. The vocals are amazing. The...

Oooh, I look forward to it. Though I am quite fond of the Chronometree cover art.

And I'm certain that all your hard work tweaking and tuning the final mix will pay off for everyone. I can hardly wait to hear the album. :)

Still no word association that's not recursive or redundant. Elrabin, are you taking Old English/Anglo-Saxon, the language?? Or is it a history class? We touch on some of the history, but it's mostly the language. But we're back - and the mission was completed! This album rocks! (if i must say so my...

No response to word association here. I'm taking a class, but was at the time sitting at my desk transferring important grammar stuff from my textbook ( An Invitation to Old English & Anglo-Saxon England ) to my notebook. Just took a short break from the madness to see what's up in the world of Glas...

Though I rarely toss my hat in, the word made me instantly think of Anglo-Saxon because I'm trying to take notes and check the forum here at the same time. Not an easy task.
