Has to be "The Wicker man" What were they(and esp. Nicholas Cage) thinking? Haven't seen the original, but have heard it was quite good. a campy 70's version of this makes sense. But in this one-where they're all trying to keep straight faces-it's too much to bear. The icing was when He(Cage) decked the big burly woman and stole her bear suit, and tried to infiltrate the big party-little did He know! One reviewer said it was "shockingly disturbing"-yea, shockingly disturbing it got released, and didn't go straight to DVD!!!
