Secret Messages in an album ABOUT secret messages?

Post by Bnielsen » Thu May 19, 2005 11:12 am

Pretentious, oh YES!

lol... steve/fred/whomever, I did my best attempt to translate the 'message' on the back of the lyrics book. Did he make a typo, of am I still having trouble figuring out the letters that are caps or not.
I know sam would have this done in a split second, but I was working very hard for about 20 minutes on this!

I remeber trying to figure out some of that, with all that weird "perelandra vortex" and "allusion" and stuff... i asked steve, and he said fred did it, i asked fred, and he said he had totally forgotten... So it probably was just a typo. I'm guessing they didn't count on dorks like us trying to decode it.

You'd think they'd have known better... ;)
Workings of man crying out from the fires set aflame
By his blindness to see that the warmth of his being
Is promised for his seeing, his reaching so clearly

w00t! THANKS STEVE!!!! =)

And what REALLY cooked my noodle was, your designer used TWO DIFFERENT FONTS!

The characters on the physical CD and on the tracklisting/insert were different.

Hehe, did I just out-geek sam to a certain degree? Or did I just lower my lame quotient to -7?

I think I did most of the design elements on that album - outside of the actual cover art. So, those were my font choices. It may have been Romulan - I can't recall.
