Easy to explain, hard to do! I have a hard enough time with bass clef because I never read it (soprano voice, soprano and alto recorders - I just never need to), so i have to think really hard about what the picture means. For alto clef, I have seen it so seldom that I have to rework the notes every time I look at it.

Alto clef is quite the handy little tool to have around if you're too lazy to write ledger lines
