1. TIME MARCHES ON

You know
We go
Through life and all its wonders like a race that's to be won
Slow down, care for the moments remaining
In time
Our lives, they seem a moment in time
We'll see the truth and nothing more
As time marches on....

We should
Cherish
The time we have together, 'cause we won't be back again!
You know,
Love is the only forever
In time.
Our lives, they seem a moment in time
We'll see the truth and nothing more
As time marches on....

What is life except a stage?
You spend the years rehearsing for another time that's yet to come
And all your works and all your dreams and all your thoughts are
Just a mote in the eye of eternity
Yet there's a reason for it all
There is a place for us if we don't give into the hand time
This portion of the dream that we can see is not the real world --

Time to awaken!

2. AIR BORN
(By Latimer/Bardens)

High flying mynah, spread your wings
Flying high on a cloud
Born on the air, spiral around
So easy making circles
You never touch the ground

You see the sea, feel the sky
Don't know where you're going
You don't, you don't know the answers
To what's in my mind
Riding on the wind and turning with the tide

Light takes you up, it brings you down
Change is the things that to me
Is chained to the frost, the wind and the rain
And everyone keeps staring up
You'll be back again

3. THE NARROW WAY

There is a lady that we all know
And once upon a Prime Time T.V. show
A man was asking her about her soul
She thought a moment and replied,
"All paths lead to God"
Funny thing for her to say,
And none too original

There was a man who said "It's either or"
You've got to find the truth at the very core
In most religions that's what they're searching for
And can they all be right?
All roads can't lead to Rome
I've seen the end of many a trail
But never the coliseum

And now you've heard from a woman and a man
What matters most to you is where you stand
And can you find the truth, I know that you can
Don't wait until the morning comes
For bad can't evolve into good
it's either or - only one truth
only one narrow way

For now the morning comes and it can't wait
You wake up in the dawn to find you're too late
Do you burn to a cinder in the morning light
Did the path you chose lead to eternal night
At the end of time do you know regret
When you see the final truth that you'll never forget

4. A IS A

Are we living in deceptive times
When the truth has turned its face
Is there reason buried in the rhyme
Can there be a higher place

You can turn your head away and
say it's all lies
You can try to walk away from the truth
you know inside
You can change your mind and thus change your soul
But you can't change the truth, and that is
A = A = A = A is A
It seems so obvious but misunderstanding still persists
A = A = A = A is A

Faith and Reason seem to be two sides
That can never act as one
Is the higher power that I feel
something that my mind has done

You can turn your head away and
say it's all lies
You can try to walk away from the truth
you know inside
You can change your mind and thus change your soul
But you can't change the truth, and that is
A = A = A = A is A
It seems so obvious but misunderstanding still persists
A = A = A = A is A

5. THE MORNING SONG

Feels like a summer morning
There's music in my heart
Why can't we sing together
Each unto his part

All creation singing

All mankind could know the story
All creation sing his glory
Forevermore - forevermore

Time to rise
Wake for the morning comes
Leave your cares behind

Sing of love
Love that lasts forever
When you wake to find

All creation singing

All mankind could know the story
All creation sing his glory
Forevermore - forevermore

Who wrote the song
That echoes in my heart
And made it
To linger

1. Surely He is good to all of us who seek a pure heart - who seek - to know the truth
2. All will be changed and all will be new - all will be forever made as one
3. Now I pray to you my Lord - When it comes - I'll be there - At your side - Forevermore
4. Sing aloud the truth in your heart - wake up - sing out - for the morning comes

There will come one final day
Every eye shall see
Truth and love will live as one
Wake for the morning comes

All mankind could know the story
All creation sing his glory
Forevermore - forevermore

6. HEROES AND DRAGONS

Something has called to us all of our days
Whispering of glory and glorious ways
Someone has reached from an infinite space
Found in our hearts the most secretive place
Planted a vision though not clearly seen
For mankind is fallen

There is a yearning in every heart
Reminding us all who we were from the start
Destined for more than our earthly estate
Heaven may beckon though we're doomed to wait
And so we may search for what truth we can find
For mankind is fallen

There is a dragon as real as can be
Conquered mankind with the fruit of the tree
And he sees the truth of who we're meant to be

Searching for someone that calls from above
A hero to follow, who worthy of love
Has risen from death and then rolled back the stone
Holds high the sword and then urges us on
To put down the dragon we've served all along
For mankind is fallen

7. IN THE COURT OF ALKINOOS

Part One
The Spell

Athene:
The hero alone, forlorn and weary
Slumbered in darkness dreary
So, leaving him I swiftly sped
To chase the moonlight whence it fled
To find for him a savior

I sought her out, a princess fair
Who seemed a goddess lying there
‘Neath the starlight, mid the gloom
None fairer born of mortal womb
I wove a spell to snare her

Athene:
Get thee to the water
Nausikaa
I’ll rise come the morning
Athene:
Get thee to the water
Nausikaa:
I’ll rise come the daybreak

Athene:
Get thee to the water
For one is waiting there
A wild thing cast upon the shore
Human wreckage the tempest tore
And you I have chosen

Nausikaa:
I will go to the water
Athene:
And you I have chosen

Part Two
Nausikaa

Nausikaa:
Daybreak, I must awake now
Something bids me go
Come now my fair attendants
For there is something I must know
Waiting for me
Down by the sea

Dreaming, dreaming

All sing:
Grab the white dress and the linen
Hitch the team and follow me
Dreaming, the princess saw a wedding
She thinks the time is right to marry

Nausikaa:
There are days like Heaven
Spent beneath the sun
Play now, for we’re but maidens
And life has only just begun

Waiting for me
Down by the sea

All sing:
Rising, the hero looks the savage
Waking, a lion fit to rage
Yet now the princess will not cower
Fearless, fearless is she!

Part Three
Odysseus

Odysseus:
Where am I?
What fell thing is seeking now to gore me?
Where am I?
No one-eyed giants standing now before me?
I just want to go home!

Where am I?
And who this goddess?  Have you come to aid me?
Where am I?
Or should I curse again the gods that made me?
I just want to go home!

Nausikaa:
Come, follow if you will
I’ll lead you somewhere
A city shining bright
A ship you will find there

My father is the King
‘Tis he you must query
He’ll think you are the man
That I’m meant to marry!

Part Four
The King

King Alkinoos:
He knelt before the throne of the hallowed prince
And there he made his supplication known
They never knew – ‘twas the sacker of cities
And for his sake the truth could not be shown

The king was moved as the hero told his tale
Of weary travels ore the stormy foam
He’d give his daughter to this hero kneeling there
And grant a ship and crew to speed him home

Nausikaa:
Waiting for me
Down by the sea

All sing:
First the king declares a feast
Now the hero’s need is withheld
Lo, his head is dipped in sorrow
He is waiting for tomorrow
Waiting
Waiting

King Alkinoos:
Call forth the blind one
To sing us a story
Of swords and of fire
Of battle and glory

Nausikaa:
Oh sing to us of warriors bold
For we have heard a legend told
Of one doomed to sail the sea
In search of his love
But never to find her

Part Five
The Singer

Demodokos:
“Hear his story
Hearken well now
For this hero
Hath angered the gods!”
All sing:
To his torment
There before him
Sang the singer
A song of his doom

Odysseus:
Say no more
Say no more

All sing:
No one sees that
Tears are flowing
No one knows that
Here sits the one

Sing on singer
Sing unceasing
You have brought low
The hero of the ages

Odysseus:
Say no more
Say no more

All sing:
Sing on singer
Sing unceasing
You have brought low
The hero of the ages

Part Six
The Dance
(Instrumental)

Part Seven
The Competition
(Instrumental)

Part Eight
Wounding One Hero

Demodokos and Choir:
The feasting complete
The songs have been sung
The games have been won
A champion crowned

Demodokos and Odysseus:
Once was a man, who by ruse of war
Gained access to the city of Troy and all its wealth
Now comes a man, who by craft of words
Hath broken down the gates of the hero’s heart

There is but one, one hero who will conquer
From Heaven up above – God of glory and of love
Here is my gift, my ruse of war, my Trojan Horse
For to His glory I’ll sing forever more.

King Alkinoos:
No!  Stop this madness now!
Can’t you see?  He’s broken down with sorrow
While you sing of heroes, of riddles and of gods
There remains one question
And I would have my answer now

What is your name?
